THE CHRONOLOGY OF
AN EASTER EGG HUNT
2005
Here's a chronological pictorial record of how the Easter Egg
hunt evolved.
Margee and Steve Overhiser of Fennville Main Street Market decide to
sponsor the event. They consult with the Easter Bunny to come up
with a plan to provide candy filled eggs and prizes for children
ages 1 through 8. They enlist the aid of the Fennville Chamber of
Commerce and the Fennville Lions Club.

About
30% more attended this year's event than last year. The ideal
weather doubtless contributed to the turnout.
And now
it begins...
...and
it continues.

this'll take my mind off my missing front teeth."
Her mom
tells me her daughter is an Elmo fan, so this one hit home.
Is that
a drum!? I wonder if her parents are as pleased as she is?
Soccer
balls are always a hit.
Here's a
lucky guy. He got two prize eggs.
Good
time? Of course we're having a good time. Why do you ask?

The Easter Bunny was on hand
to pose for photos with the children before and after the event.
And
now, will the REAL Easter Bunny please stand up!
Many thanks to Elice Menear, Bank Manager of the Fennville Chemical
Bank and board member of the Fennville Chamber of Commerce.
It's mighty warm inside that Easter Bunny suit under the hot sun on
a 70 degree day.
And
thanks to all the others who participated with their time and
resources to make the Easter Egg Hunt possible:
